It’s getting cold in here

It’s getting cold in here, so put on all your clothes. I am getting so cold, I will put my clooothes on!

As a result of our recent love-affair with laminate flooring, I have found it necessary to insulate my toes this winter. Don’t you love my pink Hello Kitty slippers? Heart.

I also bought some gloves. That’s right, I bought some gloves. I’m so ashamed, what’s wrong with me?! (ah yes, that’s right, the mittens I started on my wedding day two years ago are still only half-knit… doh!). But they truly are dire. I bought them yesterday and the finger is already unravelling on one hand. There truly is no substitute for home-knits.

The snow is melting, but evidence of our unsual pet-combo remains…

(I also slipped and landed on my bum on the way to my car this morning, but I’m not telling anyone about that so shhhh)
