  1. Maybe you should weave Howard a woolly blanket of his own. How about weaving strips of unspun wool into a wide-spaced cotton warp? I think this is done by drafting out the wool nice and thick and just twisting it slightly as you put it in, then weave a row of ordinary yarn in between each row of wool. Come to think of it I could weave a blanket or three like this for my cats…!

  4. Ah Dot, it’s common knowledge that cats will only sleep on things they’re not allowed to and will shun any purpose-bought or made items! lol

    I have seen cushions made like this though, and they do look lovely. I thought of making one but I’m not sure how well they would wear with day-to-day use? Wouldn’t they pill like billy-o?
